Frequently Asked Questions

We know when choosing a roofing company there may be some questions that arise. Before making a final decision, make sure all of your questions are answered.

What to look for in a roofing company:

Is the company a licensed contractor?

Any roofing company should be able to provide you a copy of their license and any credentials you may need. Our license # is 60957.

Do they have bonding capabilities?

A bond insures that a contractor complete projects according to contractual terms. If a contractor fails to do so, the project developer can make a claim on the bond to access funds that can be used to pay a second contractor to finish the job. Our bond # is NM 38819.

Can they provide you with current insurance (liability and workman’s compensation)?

It is very important to obtain proof of their insurance. There are many “companies” conducting business without insurance. As the homeowner, without the contractor having it, you risk being held liable for any injuries that may happen on your property. (click to show information)

Can they provide a list of former customers as references?

There is no better way to learn about a company than by talking to a source directly. Please find a list of our referrals here"

How long has the company been in business?

The longevity of a company is critical. When choosing a roofing company, you are entering into a long-term relationship. You will want confidence that the company will be there down the road should any issues arise. AAA Roofing has been family owned and operated since 1991.

Are they a member of the Better Business Bureau?

The BBB holds its members accountable for their business practices and ratings are not easily obtained. This is best source available for consumers to find if a company is trustworthy. We have been proud members of the BBB since 1993 and have maintained an A+ rating.

What does their warranty entail and what specifically voids the warranty?

A warranty is a huge part of the roofing system you choose. Make sure they are able to discuss the terms of the warranty and provide you with a sample. Some companies will offer warranties through the manufactures and not a labor and material warranty through their company. (click to see warranty)

What I might need to know when using AAA Roofing Co.:

Do I need to be home for my estimate?

We do ask that if you are experiencing any leaking on your roof, you be at the property when we come out for the inspection. This is to ensure that we find the correct areas that are causing problems.

If we are coming out to measure your roof for a complete re-roof, you do not have to be home. A skilled AAA Roofing employee will “walk” your roof, take the proper measurements, inspect the roof, and get back to you as soon as possible with a proposal.

Should I be home the day of my repair?

You do not need to be at the property the day of the repair unless you prefer to be. Our technicians will arrive at the property and complete the approved repair without ever bothering anyone at the dwelling.

What if the leak that was previously repaired re-occurs?

If we previously fixed a leak at your property and you find that it is still leaking in that same area we will gladly come out and re-address the area within a year of original work being performed.

How does payment work?

After the project in completed our office will mail or email you an invoice. For payment we accept all major credit cards (no additional fees apply) or you can mail a check to our office PO Box 30841, Albuquerque, NM 87190

How do I schedule my repair or re-roof?

Once you have received a written proposal for the property we ask that you please email, mail or fax us a signed copy of the work you are approving. From there we will contact you with a schedule date.

Can we replace our roof during the winter?

We can install your roof year round with the exception of the days that bring severe weather: rain, snow, hail, thunderstorms and extremely low daytime temperatures.

What happens on my roof installation day?

On the day of your roof installation the property will essentially become a construction site. We ask that you please remove all cars from your driveway and any cars in your garage that you will need should be parked on the street or in a separate area so that we can place a trailer or dumpster in the driveway. We will arrive at the property between 7am-8am to start the project and will typically finish around 4pm unless the roof finishes early or there is a need for us to stay later.

*Please be aware that roofing creates a lot of debris. At the end of each day we will thoroughly check the worksite and clean-up remaining trash, nails and other roofing materials.
